to help care for our City's parks and landscaped areas during the growing season.

Weeding and cleaning flower and shrub beds Watering colorful hanging baskets downtown Pruning shrubs and maintaining plant health Brush cutting and clearing overgrowth
You'll be outdoors, moving, and contributing to spaces everyone in our community enjoys. If you like physical work, sunshine, and seeing the impact of your efforts every day, this is the job for you.

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Limited opportunities are available for applicants under 18 due to equipment and driving restrictions. Preference will be given to applicants who are 18 years or older
and possess a valid driver's license in good standing.
Must successfully pass the City's pre-employment background check, including driving abstract review (if applicable), and complete a baseline audiogram prior to start date.
SHOE REQUIREMENT : Steel-toed shoes required on first day of employment- furnished by the employee. Additional Information Working Conditions: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
The positions require heavy manual labor in all weather conditions. The employee is occasionally required to lift, carry and/or move up to 50 pounds; visits job sites that require walking on uneven, rocky, or rough ground; performs physical activity including but not limited to repeated walking, bending and/or stooping for long periods of time. May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. The employee is required to maintain professional composure, tact, patience and courtesy at all times.
