Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience, CA license, and BLS certification for a daytime imaging contract.
Responsibilities Work in a cancer support services environment within a mammography unitResponsible for routine and specialized breast imaging proceduresDay shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PMEpic charting experience preferredPatient population requires skilled imaging for breast diagnosis and preventionIndependently perform mammography procedures following all regulations and policiesEnsure quality images and timely results while maintaining patient privacy and safetyStrong communication required to work with patients, families, and care teamsMay assist with orienting new staff to the departmentMust be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signingReturn staff must have a 1-year gap before being eligible as a travelerOnly one holiday off will be approved during the contractMust adhere to a 50-mile radius rule for travel eligibility; locals accepted at a different rateParticipation in e-learning modules required during orientation
