Customer Account Specialist HYBRID position in San Diego, CA
LHH has partnered with an innovative and global electronics company who is actively seeking a versatile and organized Customer Account to join their team! As an integral part of the organization, you will work cross functionally and provide support to customer operations, sales, marketing and ensuring efficiency and excellence in daily business functions. This is a DIRECT HIRE position with salary starting at $55K, sign on bonus, biannual discretionary bonuses, room for growth and a HYBRID work schedule.
Responsibilities:
Handle and verify customer orders, ensuring accurate data entry, confirmation, and timely processing. Act as the main point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving order and delivery issues, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Collaborate with Sales and Inside Sales teams to facilitate the swift entry of new product orders into the system. Support inventory management by analyzing customer forecasts and working to meet delivery deadlines. Oversee Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) accounts by processing daily hub activities, maintaining accurate system records, and managing stock replenishments. Maintain appropriate inventory levels based on customer usage patterns and ensure timely stock replenishment. Track and address inventory discrepancies at VMI hubs, working closely with sales and customers to resolve issues. Coordinate with the Planning department to expedite orders and prevent any delays, while keeping customers informed of critical updates. Manage electronic orders (EDI) and ensure smooth processing of customer orders through online systems. Liaise with internal departments such as planning, warehouse, accounting, and sales to troubleshoot and resolve account-related concerns. Process and track credit memos, debit memos, and return merchandise authorizations (RMA), ensuring timely return processes. Step in to provide coverage for other Customer Account Coordinators, ensuring continuity in service across all customer accounts. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field highly preferred Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proficient in MS Office Suite; experience with CRM software and ERP systems is a plus Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining a high level of accuracy Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with the electronics industry is advantageous
