About the Role We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor / Lead Maintenance Mechanic to run the show in a
newly created leadership role . You'll work side-by-side with three experienced mechanics to keep all fabrication equipment running smoothly This is a
day-shift role
focused on troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, team leadership, and tracking equipment performance. Across two shifts, you'll be the key point of contact for all mechanical and equipment-related work-helping build a more proactive, organized, and efficient maintenance department. We use a preventative maintenance (PM) software system to track labor, machine downtime, schedules, and repairs-giving you the tools to stay ahead of issues and reduce disruptions on the floor. What You'll Do
Lead a team of 3 maintenance technicians on 1st shift Oversee repairs, routine maintenance, and PM programs across all fabrication equipment Use a maintenance tracking system to manage PMs, labor tracking, and downtime logging Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of fabrication and industrial equipment Perform hands-on work daily alongside your team Lead training, improve documentation, and increase department efficiency Collaborate with production and leadership to ensure uptime and support output Help drive improvements in performance, safety, and preventive planning What You Bring
AAS in Industrial Maintenance of an equivalent of 10+ years of related industrial maintenance experience 5+ years of maintenance experience is required; prefer metal fabrication and related industries Strong troubleshooting skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps, motors, valves, gearboxes, 480 volts and basic PLCs Prefer experience managing or leading a small team of technicians Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics Solid understanding of preventive maintenance practices Comfortable in a hands-on role-you're leading by example, not from a desk
