The
Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF)
is seeking an
Associate Director of Membership and Donor Engagement
to lead our front-line donor programs and deepen the impact of our mission through meaningful connections and strategic communications.
The Role You'll Play:
As our Associate Director of Membership and Donor Engagement, you'll be a core player on our Development team, blending strategy, creativity, and data-savvy to cultivate and grow OSF's dynamic base of entry-level members and donors. You'll work cross-functionally with the Development and Marketing & Sales teams to ensure that every campaign, communication, and member experience reflects the heart of OSF's mission - and inspires our community to keep coming back.
You'll oversee our Membership and Donor Engagement Coordinator and spearhead campaigns that raise vital contributed income while deepening relationships with OSF's vibrant audience and donor base.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead and Deliver : Set revenue and growth goals for membership and donor engagement programs, partnering with development leaders to meet and exceed targets. Campaign Mastermind : Develop and execute multi-channel campaigns (email, mail, web, social, on-site, phone) that resonate and convert. Craft the Message : Write persuasive copy for donor appeals, newsletters, e-blasts, website content, and other communications. Drive Engagement : Shape benefit strategies and on-campus experiences (like our Members' Lounge!) to delight and retain supporters. Manage & Mentor : Supervise the Membership and Donor Engagement Coordinator and oversee membership operations. Cross-Team Collaborator : Partner with departments and vendors to develop member materials that reflect OSF's brand and voice. Data-Informed Strategist : Use Tessitura and collaborate on data-driven decisions that boost ROI and efficiency. Connector-in-Chief : Build bridges between departments and champion our members across the organization. You'll Thrive Here If You:
Bring
4+ years
of experience in marketing or fundraising and
3+ years
of project management. Have
strong writing chops
and can craft messaging that speaks to the heart - across mail, email, and social. Know how to take a campaign from concept to delivery - and love the process. Have experience with
Tessitura
or another CRM and are comfortable managing data and insights. Are a natural communicator, collaborator, and problem-solver. Can manage competing deadlines and still bring creative ideas to the table. Have
bonus experience
managing a direct report, or using design and media tools like Adobe Creative Suite, video/sound production, etc. Why OSF?

Hours : Mostly M-F with some evenings/weekends for key events. Physical Requirements : Office-based with occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs) and regular computer use. Salary range: $85,000 - $100,000
