Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine

Job Description American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and CNMT or ARRT(N) certification for a weekday acute care assignment.

Responsibilities Work in an acute care setting within a Nuclear Medicine unitMonday through Friday schedule with five 8-hour day shiftsNo weekends, evenings, or call requiredPerforms nuclear medicine imaging procedures and related tasksUses Allscripts EMR for documentationResponsible for ordering, preparing, administering, storing, and disposing of radiopharmaceuticals per protocol and regulationsReviews patient history, educates patients about procedures, and monitors patient status throughout the examPrepares equipment, selects imaging parameters, implements safety standards, and troubleshoots equipment malfunctionsAnalyzes imaging results for quality and takes corrective actions as neededExpected to enter, transmit, and report scan results efficientlyScrubs or dress code not specified
