Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 2 years of experience, CNMT or NMTCB certification, and an active IN state license.
Responsibilities Work in a short-term acute care hospital in both adult Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology settingsDuties include performing gastric emptying, HIDA scan, MUGA scan, 3 phase scans, whole body bone scans, liver imaging, perfusion, ventilation/perfusion, and pharmacological/exercise stress proceduresStart and maintain peripheral IVs and handle radioactive materialsSchedule is Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts with varying start times between 5:00 AM and 9:00 AMRotating call required for one week at a time, covering all after hours, including weekendsFloating within the hospital and to nearby affiliate hospitals is requiredCerner EMR is used; experience is requiredMust be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidaysRTO policy allows up to 5 pre-approved days off; requests beyond this require facility approvalFirst-time travelers are acceptedLocal candidates are accepted for allied positionsPerm or PRN employees must be away for 12 months before applying as a travelerFree parking availableIsolation precautions are followed as neededScrub/dress code not specified
