Position Overview The Human Resources Generalist will support the organization’s people operations by managing core HR functions including benefits and compensation, employee relations, training and development, compliance, and policy administration. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), the HR Generalist will play a key role in ensuring HR practices align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. This position is Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Duties and Responsibilities: Manage employee benefits and compensation programs, including plan administration and employee communications.

Oversee salary structure maintenance and conduct market surveys to ensure competitive and equitable compensation.

Develop, coordinate, and evaluate training programs and professional development initiatives.

Track and maintain employee certifications, training records, and expiration dates.

Lead the organization’s Fun Committee and support employee engagement initiatives.

Ensure HR policies are developed, updated, and aligned with internal standards and government regulations.

Maintain accurate and compliant employee records and oversee record retention efforts.

Support internal and external compliance audits and ensure adherence to applicable laws and policies.

Manage retirement plan uploads and ongoing maintenance.

Assist with payroll processing and ensure accuracy of employee data.

Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.

3+ years of experience in a generalist or similar HR role.

Experience with benefits administration, payroll, and compliance preferred.

HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is required.
