Job Description
MasterBrand Cabinets Inc. is seeking a highly motivated, goal-oriented, and dedicated individual to fill our Vendor Compliance Lead position and join our diverse, fast-paced, and family-oriented team at our Fairdale, KY location.
The Vendor Compliance Scrap Technician is responsible for identifying and investigating material nonconformance’s, determining root causes, and referencing product specifications and standards to assess compliance. This role involves direct communication with vendors to address quality issues, initiate Discrepant Material Reports (DMRs), and follow up to ensure resolution.
In addition to vendor compliance responsibilities, this position manages all outbound, non-usable material. The Vendor Compliance Lead ensures that all scrap and waste materials are properly documented, recorded, and disposed of according to company procedures.
Responsibilities:
Investigate and inspect material.
Communicate issues and areas of concern with vendors as well as internal/external customers.
Follow up with vendors on previous issues.
Ability to provide coaching to team members on quality when needed.
Follow safety processes and procedures.
Maintain control of all material exit points.
Management of materials in Redzone and the appropriate documentation of any inbound/outbound material in the location.
Ensuring correct item identification and quantity is documented in database prior to disposal of scrap materials
Providing final inspection of items being dispersed via No Charge Warranty returns.
Create/Issue any quality alerts when potential noncompliance is suspected to be an ongoing issue

Strong organizational skills
Ability to multitask.
Intermediate Skills in Microsoft Office.
Ability to navigate and populate information in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to send, read, forward items in Microsoft Outlook.
Must take and pass an intro-level Microsoft Excel skill assessment test.
Previous experience working in quality preferred.
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply. Must be able to convert fractions to decimals.
Computer literate
Metrics-driven mindset
Strong English communication skills – verbal, written, Listening, and Presentation.
Must be able to work independently or in group setting.
