As a Maintenance Technician, you will: Moving production benches and office furniture. Complete setup and teardown for events and meetings. Escort vendors who perform onsite work. Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work as necessary. Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely manner. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Other tasks as assigned by the manager. This is a 12 Month full time Contract or Contract to hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3-5 years of prior relevant experience in facilities maintenance or a related trade (e.g., electrician, plumber, HVAC technician). Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions. Lifting at minimum 32 pounds, climbing up and down step ladders and stairs, assisting contractors outside (unconditioned space) and inside (conditioned space). Proficient knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical. Preferred Skills:
Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, lifting equipment. Experience working in a manufacturing/office environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills - navigating the internet, typing, using printers, email management. Experience working in a manufacturing/office environment.
Pay Range: $26-28/hr.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
