Location: Avon, Connecticut Type: Direct Hire Job #61260 Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 Per Year Our CT based client is in need of a seasoned Business Development Manager with experience working in plastics packaging.

We're seeking a results-driven and strategic leader to join our team as a Business Development Manager for the Advanced TPU Films division. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth, expanding our sales channels, and developing a strong presence in the market.

About the Role:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be the driving force behind our sales strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and develop innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of our customers. Your expertise in channel management, sales growth, and market development will be instrumental in helping us achieve our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage annual sales forecasts and budgets for the North and South American markets, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of results Meet and exceed sales volume targets for each territory, driving growth and expansion of our market presence Collaborate with the Marketing department to launch new campaigns and promotions for our ATPU products, maximizing market visibility and brand awareness Conduct regular performance appraisals, provide coaching and development opportunities to team members, and identify areas for improvement Build and maintain strong relationships with existing converters, distributors, and resellers, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion Work closely with our German parent company to ensure consistency and alignment of our global message and strategy Develop and implement channel management plans and programs to enhance our market position and develop long-term strategic partners Prepare and analyze reports to reflect the performance of the ATPU division, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions Manage department expenses according to budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and ROI Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments, applying this knowledge to inform business strategy and decision-making What We're Looking For:

A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field, with an MBA preferred 8-10 years of experience in channel management, thermoplastic polyurethane sales, or a related field Proven track record of driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and developing strategic partnerships Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights Experience with sales management software, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and contact management systems Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills What We Offer:
