Local CCI is seeking an experienced

Data Architect

to support our customer, U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award of the USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES). Key Responsibilities

Interface with key business and IT leaders to understand priorities and deliver modern product architecture strategies that enable growth. Guide a team of solution and data architects to maintain a coherent architectural vision for Data Technology. Serve as an expert in enterprise architecture tools, technology, and standards, providing strategic consulting on external trends and best practices. Leverage emerging technologies such as AI/ML to transform key use cases and experiences. Design, develop, test, and deploy advanced analytic and data science tools, including data visualization, link analysis, and machine learning. Minimum of five years' experience with Big Data applications like Hadoop, including administration and performance tuning. Build robust data ecosystems optimized for high-volume, real-time operations using relational and NoSQL databases, Snowflake, and BI tools like Tableau. Architect event-driven solutions using technologies like AWS Kinesis, Kafka, and AWS Lambda. Formulate and enforce MDM strategies, data governance frameworks, and ensure data integrity and compliance. Promote a culture of continuous learning, modernization, and adherence to non-functional requirements such as scalability. Deep understanding of modern workplace practices including Domain-Based Design, DevSecOps, Continuous Delivery, and Agile methodologies. Required Skills

Bachelors Degree in STEM and 7 years of experience in modern data architecture design and implementation. DoD Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance. Excellent communication skills to work with leadership and demystify complex data concepts, emphasizing cloud adoption and strategic initiatives. What You Can Expect
