Inside Account Managers (IAMs) Role: IAMs manage named customer accounts and are responsible for prospecting, managing the entire sales cycle, and closing deals from our Regional Inside Sales Hub. This role is office-based and involves engaging with customers via phone, email, or other virtual channels to manage relationships across various customer personas.
Responsibilities:
Manage a target account list across verticals and territories, focusing on sales growth within Zebra's product portfolio.
Handle the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to closing to meet sales quotas.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations.
Use Zebra Sales Plays to promote products and solutions, engaging the right personas to support customer outcomes.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospects, using CRM tools to track activities and forecast sales.
Utilize CRM data insights to inform sales activities and reporting.
Share best practices and learnings with colleagues to foster a collaborative sales environment.
Collaborate with Sales, Enablement, Marketing, Product, and other teams to align efforts.
Provide feedback to improve sales strategies and processes.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and product developments.
Continuously update knowledge of Zebra's products and services.
Implement coaching feedback to enhance sales techniques and results.
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
4+ years of B2B sales experience
Reside in the US and able to work out of Zebra’s downtown Chicago office 5 days a week
Available to start by October 20, 2025
Preferred Requirements:
3+ years of inside sales experience
Experience selling technology solutions
Experience selling to Retail, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Transportation, Logistics, or Healthcare industries
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
Strong business acumen and technical product knowledge
Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, and resilient
Disciplined, coachable, high emotional intelligence
