Accounting Manager
who isn’t afraid to dig into the details, lead from the front, and shake things up when needed. Based on-site in a collaborative office setting, this role is perfect for someone who’s passionate about people, process, and performance.
You’ll oversee the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury teams, managing day-to-day activities while constantly pushing for improvements. If you’re ready to optimize, automate, and energize core financial functions, this is your shot.
Accounting Manager Responsibilities
Direct and develop a team of accounting professionals across AP, AR and Treasury Manage daily financial transactions including billing, payments, collections and reconciliations Drive process improvements that enhance accuracy and streamline workflows Own the month-end close process and ensure clean, timely reporting Serve as the audit liaison, preparing documentation and maintaining compliance Oversee cash flow operations and reporting in partnership with banking institutions Collaborate across departments to solve issues and align operations
Accounting Manager Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA a plus 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with 2+ years in a leadership role Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems like NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle Proven ability to manage multiple transactional accounting functions Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills A track record of process improvement and team development
The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $135,000, plus bonus.
?A comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical / dental / vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
The position is a hybrid role in downtown Chicago.
