Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Accounting Manager to support our rapid growth in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cash management and profit and loss/balance sheet management. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage cash flow in an evolving organization. Key Responsibilities: ·Manage all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, monthly close process and fixed assets. ·Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP or applicable standards. ·Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. ·Familiar with federal, state, local, sales tax reporting. Cash Flow Forecasting & Management ·Develop and maintain detailed short- and long-term cash flow forecasts. ·Monitor daily cash positions and optimize working capital to support business operations and growth. ·Oversee banking relationships and ensure efficient treasury operations. Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis ·Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts. ·Analyze financial results and key performance indicators to support strategic decision-making. ·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and drive business performance. Inventory & Cost Accounting ·Monitor inventory valuation, costing methods, and variance analysis. ·Support operations with analysis of production costs and opportunities for cost savings. ·Lead and develop the accounting team; establish efficient workflows and best practices. ·Promote a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement. Qualifications: ·Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred). ·10+ years of experience in accounting and finance, ideally within a manufacturing environment and previous management experience. ·Strong understanding of GAAP, cost accounting, and financial analysis. ·Proven experience with cash flow forecasting and treasury management. ·Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) and Excel.
