Associate Director, US Region Financial Performance Management

Job Summary Job Description What is the Opportunity? Provides support for financial planning and budgeting processes. Applies extensive, in-depth knowledge, skills, and practices to perform complex assignments. Supports the US financial performance management (FPM) team in performing financial performance analysis and strategic analysis for RBC's US businesses such as US Capital Markets, CNB, Wealth Management, and RBC Bank. Supports FPM processes including management reporting, annual operating plans, strategic projects, and develops financial performance analytics by collecting and analyzing data from various systems and presenting summaries to management. Supports business advisory responsibilities through engagement, strategic analytics, and projects. What will you do? Support monthly financial performance analysis (IFRS) for US Platforms, coordinating with various businesses and functions. Develop month-end management reports, including forecasts and variance analysis. Prepare financial analytics for quarterly board meetings and collaborate with finance teams for commentary. Assist in producing the annual business plan, 5-year outlook, and quarterly forecasts for senior management. Partner with business units as a trusted advisor, supporting growth and strategic initiatives with insightful analytics. Support financial performance analysis (US GAAP) and strategic projects for US legal entities, integrating RBC's reporting framework into US operations. Contribute to legal entity forecasting for tax planning, providing inputs for impairment analysis. Enhance US Finance reporting capabilities through automation and analytics development. What do you need to succeed? Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, or related field. At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in executive management reporting. Experience with Funds Transfer Pricing or Financial Resource Optimization is a plus. What's in it for you? The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $190,000, depending on experience, skills, and market conditions.
