This position is being recruited in both Anchorage and Juneau; final location is based on the location of the selected candidate. What You Will Be Doing This position functions as the Department of Revenue’s primary web developer and content architect, responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing the Department’s Internet and Intranet web presence using modern web technologies and content management systems. This includes full lifecycle support for internal and public-facing sites through tools like Microsoft SharePoint Online (O365), Sitefinity CMS, and supporting technologies. The incumbent independently evaluates business needs and translates them into accessible, standards-compliant, secure, and engaging web solutions. This position operates with a high level of technical autonomy and collaborates with program subject matter experts and stakeholders across all divisions. Mission and Culture The Department of Revenue's Administrative Services Division provides centralized support services for core division programs whose missions are to collect, distribute, and invest funds for public purposes. Who We Are Looking For Knowledge of data management principles, procedures, and tools, such as modeling techniques, data backup, recovery, dictionaries, warehousing, mining, archiving, disposal, and standardization processes. Knowledge of computer hardware and software development and systems supporting aerospace flight and ground systems. Knowledge of database principles, methods, and tools for automating, developing, implementing, or administering database systems. Knowledge of database management systems and software for controlling data organization, storage, retrieval, security, and integrity.
