Tesla’s Manufacturing Test Engineering group is seeking a highly motivated hands-on Technical Program Manager to lead the development of custom manufacturing equipment involving mechanical, electrical, controls, and software engineering. This role involves collaborating with product designers, firmware engineers, manufacturing engineers, supply chain, and production teams to develop manufacturing testing equipment for Semitrucks and other Tesla products. Key Responsibilities
Create, maintain, and communicate project schedules and plans for developing and deploying manufacturing equipment to meet production goals. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project completion within scope, schedule, and budget. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and communicate status effectively to stakeholders. Develop solutions for project challenges and manage resource allocation efficiently. Document project details accurately across Tesla systems such as Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint, Polarion, and SolidWorks PDM. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience with proven hands-on ability. At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing environments managing change processes. Experience in creating and managing project schedules and communication. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly organized with attention to detail. Understanding of design cycles and problem-solving processes. Experience with electrical test instruments is a plus. Benefits
