Lead long-range planning for the structure and interaction between the business strategy, organization, and business, application, data, and technical architectures.
Essential Functions
Translate business needs into architectural solutions (current and target state) and define solutions to business problems through information technology.
Lead the overall architecture of enterprise systems.
Determine integrated architecture solutions that meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security needs.
Establish and implement standards and guidelines that drive the design of technology solutions, including integrating multiple platforms and operating systems across the enterprise.
Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or an equivalent field.
Minimum Experience
At least five (5) years of relevant work experience in information technology or engineering. An advanced degree may offset experience requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of project planning, technical architecture, and business strategy. Excellent communication skills.
