Perform duties in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and hospital policies.Respond promptly and calmly to emergency and non-emergency calls.Assess and prioritize patient care based on injury or illness.Administer CPR, oxygen, oral glucose, and utilize AEDs as needed.Assist paramedics with airway management and ventilation.Treat trauma with appropriate splinting and spinal immobilization.Complete patient care and insurance documentation thoroughly and timely.Operate an emergency vehicle safely and in compliance with all relevant laws and hospital guidelines.Monitor communication devices and coordinate non-emergent transport requests.Maintain ambulance cleanliness, stock levels, and decontamination protocols.Represent the organization at public events while on duty.Assist in the Emergency Department as needed.Perform additional duties to ensure smooth ambulance transport operations.What Sets BRG Apart:At Baton Rouge General, we are a community of compassionate, caring individuals who set the bar when it comes to healthcare excellence.
