Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QualityControl Inspector to join our Maintenance team. This role is responsible forperforming inspections and quality control documentation in accordance with FAAregulations and standards ensuring all work complies with regulatory andmanufacturer specifications. The ideal candidate will be very detail and task oriented with a strongunderstanding of airframe and power plant systems,. This individual will have experience withQC inspections and compliance and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects at once.

Perform scheduled, unscheduled and special inspections in compliance with regulatory authorities and industry requirements and standards. Perform and complete Required Item Inspections (RII) Assemble and review complete work order packages, log entries, maintenance work cards, and other related documents for work performed Ensure parts and materials are properly tagged and segregated in the work areas Report on faulty or inoperative equipment to supervisory personnel Help ensure the hangars and facility are clean, orderly, and in compliance with regulatory and company policies Responsible for helping to ensure quality control procedures and processes are performed in a timely manner to ensure a smooth and efficient work flow Perform internal audits in accordance with the company Safety Management System Perform audits of local area vendors and other Essential Maintenance Providers at other locations. Understands the operation of various airframe and power plant systems. Ensures calibration of all shop test equipment is accurate by using calibration records and procedures. Reports discrepancies to supervisors. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Education & Experience:

Minimum of High School Diploma At least five (5) years of experience as an inspector in FAA 135 (Charter) and/or Part 145 (Repair Station) operations.

Preferred airframe experience on Gulfstream, Global Express, Falcon 900 EASy, Challenger 350, Citation Sovereign, King Air, and similar aircraft.

Skills & Competencies:

Advanced knowledge and understanding of FAA Part 135 and Part 145 regulations. Proficient and practical knowledge of basic airframe and engine repair. Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer and aviation software skills.

Microsoft Office, Aviation/MRO databases, maintenance tracking software Preferred experience with Total FBO, Corridor, Pentagon, SAP, Flightdocs, CAMP, etc.

Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records Strong problem solving skills Certifications, Licenses, & Badging

REQUIRED : Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification Inspection Authorization (IA) Preferred Ability to attain Love Field Badge Valid Driver's License

Additional Demands

Travel up to 25%

Occasional overtime, Phone duty, weekend duty, and hotlineduty will be required

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee isregularly exposed to various weather conditions. The employee may be exposed toloud noise levels in and around their work environment. The physical demandsregularly required are to sit for extended periods of time, squat, crawl, climbalong with the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Daily interactionwith Clients where tact and consideration are mandatory while maintaining ateam effort in customer service. Business Jet is an IS-BAO Stage III CertifiedOperator with FAA Approved SMS/ASAP Programs.
