Manufacturing Associate

Join a dynamic and technology-focused team as a Manufacturing Associate I, responsible for producing standard and custom medical devices. This role involves operating Zirconia Milling Machines and adhering to work instructions and company policies in a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities

Perform machine setups and operate 5+ milling machines. Load raw materials and make necessary adjustments on the machines. Conduct basic maintenance on the machines. Follow department SOPs and work instructions while adhering to customer standards. Visually inspect product quality and escalate issues as necessary. Identify and recommend disposition of defective items for rework or scrap. Understand the product manufacturing process from initial steps through final inspection. Complete all necessary documentation and training. Maintain a safe and clean work area, use appropriate PPE, and adhere to safety standards. Cross-train in one or more areas of manufacturing. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills

Experience in machine operating, quality control, and cleanroom environments. Knowledge of production, assembly, and manufacturing processes. Ability to operate machines and follow SOPs. Prior manufacturing or assembly experience of at least 6 months in a controlled environment. Exposure to machine operation including setup, operation, and basic maintenance. Ability to read SOPs and willingness to learn and be coachable. Good manual dexterity and ability to use basic hand tools. Reliability and good attendance. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. The work environment is structured for collaboration with a focus on safety and efficiency. The role operates Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm in the Zirconia Milling department. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, California. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $17.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
