The School of Public Health at the University of Nevada, Reno is accepting applications for a Public Health Scientist with expertise in health administration for a state-funded, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. We seek a Public Health Scientist with expertise in health services management or health services research. The successful candidate will be expected to: Teach undergraduate, master's, and doctoral-level courses Establish and maintain an independent and impactful research program Contribute to the continued growth and development of the School of Public Health Participate in service at the university, community, and professional levels We welcome applicants with diverse research interests in the field, including but not limited to: public organizations, cancer care, and electronic health records. Required Qualifications Doctorate (PhD, DrPH, ScD) in Public Health or a closely related field, preferably from an accredited School of Public Health Ability to develop and maintain an independent program of research, including ability to secure external research support Demonstrated ability or potential to teach graduate and undergraduate students Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures, as well as in a multidisciplinary environment Compensation Grade Assistant Professor.
