Concrete General Foreman

We are searching for an experienced Concrete General Foreman at our Tarlton HQ facility. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: We are seeking an experienced Concrete General Foreman to lead and oversee concrete construction scopes of work and/or projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of concrete work, including formwork, finishing, and reinforcement, along with strong leadership skills to manage and drive crews effectively. This role also requires proficiency in using electronic or digital documentation systems to track project progress, manage schedules, and communicate with teams. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate concrete and supporting work scope crews, ensuring safety, quality workmanship, efficiency, and production goals in a hands-on role. Read and interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications. Plan and schedule daily activities to meet project deadlines. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Oversee the pouring, finishing, and curing of concrete structures. Utilize electronic or digital documentation tools for timekeeping, safety and quality reporting, progress tracking, and communication. Communicate with superintendents, project managers, project engineers, and other project personnel to ensure smooth workflow. Train and mentor crew members, including trainees, fostering a productive work environment. Monitor inventory and order necessary materials and equipment. Inspect completed work to ensure it meets industry standards and project requirements. Required Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in concrete construction on building and/or civil projects, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills. Knowledge: Proficient in reading blueprints, understanding mix designs, and using concrete tools/equipment. Technology: Experience in using construction management software, digital reporting tools, or mobile apps for job site documentation is preferred. Certifications: OSHA 30, ACI Certification, or other relevant credentials preferred or the ability and desire to obtain such credentials. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials, work in various weather conditions, and stand for extended periods.
