We're looking for an Administrative Coordinator to join our Office of Alcohol & Tobacco Control team. An ideal candidate should possess the following competencies: Accepting Direction: The ability to accept and follow directions from those higher in the chain of command. Communicating Effectively: The ability to relay information correctly and appropriately to connect people and ideas. Focusing on Customers: The ability to serve the needs of those who support and/or rely on the services provided. Minimum qualifications: Two years of experience in administrative services. Experience substitution: Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience. In this role, you will: Perform administrative duties related to licensing and application reviews, public records request, and retention of legal documents and case files. Assist attorneys in responding to public records request submitted to the ATC including but not limited to compiling documents responsive to the request, reviewing for privileges, and drafting responses as approved by attorney. Provide administrative support as it relates to administrative hearing, including but not limited to compiling, maintaining/uploading administrative case files, mailing notices/decisions and other legal documents via mail as directed by attorneys, and ensuring that records are put on hold during litigation. Provide clerical work on behalf of the legal division including monitoring, tracking and maintaining legal calendar. Provide support to the scheduling of meetings, hearings, and other matters as directed by Supervisor and ensuring notification is provided to all necessary legal personnel. Position-specific details: Appointment Type: Probational, Promotional, Job Appointment, Detail to Special Duty or WAE. Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
