The Role: As a Planner III, you'll guide the development of our city by reviewing land use applications, evaluating proposed development properties, and ensuring compliance with the City's Comprehensive Development Plan and regulations. You'll lead the coordination of development plans with City departments and local agencies, manage land use code amendments, and prepare detailed reports and analyses. This role involves presenting findings to the Planning Commission, providing technical expertise, and supporting decision-making processes. You'll also respond to public inquiries, assist with meeting preparations, and contribute to long-range planning effortsall to ensure responsible, consistent growth in our community. Required Minimum Qualifications: (Any equivalent combination of education and experience, which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the job.): Bachelor's degree in one of the following: Planning, Geography, Public Administration, or related field. Four (4) years of professional land use planning experience including preparation of technical reports, and economic data collection.
