Server Assistant
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Server Assistant to join our Luxury Premium Catering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting servers with various dining room activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Support servers in preparing the dining room and table sets with appropriate silverware, glassware, linens, and condiments. Replenishing server stations with necessary supplies. Delivering food and drinks to tables, refilling beverages, and other meal preparation duties. Cleaning and sanitizing tables, chairs, and removing dirty dishes, glasses, and utensils from the tables and other dining areas. Greeting customers and providing them with Service Excellence. Answering questions, making recommendations, and accommodating special requests. Collaborating with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely service. Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards. Qualifications: Highschool Diploma or GED Equivalent. Minimum (1) year of Food and Beverage, Hotel/Hospitality, Club or Full-Service Restaurant experience. Valid TABC or state-approved Alcohol/Liquor certification. Valid ServSafe or state-approved Food Handler's certification. Excellent customer service, organization, and time management. Ability to speak, read, and write in English. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to remain focused in a loud and busy environment. Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
