HR Coordinator/Generalist
Position Summary: The HR Coordinator/Generalist supports the daily operations of the Human Resources department with a focus on HR administration, employee relations, recruitment support, onboarding, and compliance. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in computer systems. Experience with ADP or similar HRIS platforms is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Assist with day-to-day HR functions including employee record maintenance, data entry, and compliance tracking Administer onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparation of offer letters, new hire paperwork, orientation coordination, and exit interviews Support employee relations efforts by helping to address questions related to policies, benefits, and procedures Maintain and update HR databases and personnel files, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality Coordinate and schedule interviews and assist with the recruitment process as needed Assist with payroll preparation and timekeeping audits Help manage benefits enrollment, changes, and employee communications Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies Prepare reports related to headcount, turnover, time off, and other HR metrics Provide general administrative support to the HR department Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred 2+ years of experience in an HR support or generalist role Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Experience with ADP or similar HRIS/Payroll systems is a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices a plus Work Environment: - Office-based environment with occasional requirement to walk the production floor or attend company events Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Additional hours may be required as business needs arise Ability to Commute: - Defiance, OH 43512 (Required) Ability to Relocate: - Defiance, OH 43512: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
