Maintenance Technician
Location: DeWitt, Iowa Shift: 1st Shift (Four 10-hour days, with occasional overtime on Fridays) Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in DeWitt, Iowa. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency, safety, and reliability of our operations. You will report directly to the Plant Manager and work closely with the production team to ensure smooth maintenance processes. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate materials, time, and resources for preventive and corrective maintenance. Troubleshoot and maintain pumps, motors, hydraulics, PLCs, machining equipment, furnaces, and combustion systems. Perform electrical and welding tasks as needed. Assist in developing capital projects, budgets, and financial planning. Analyze project requirements and follow up on ongoing jobs. Schedule and monitor building/property maintenance and repairs, including contractor coordination. Support Total Maintenance Program (TPM) and enforce safety protocols (Lockout/Tagout, PPE, confined space, etc.). Apply lean principles to drive operational improvements. Required Skills & Qualifications
25 years of maintenance experience. Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and machining centers. Basic knowledge of PLCs, furnaces, combustion equipment, and welding. Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Project management experience and understanding of lean principles. Why Join Us?
