Community Engagement Coordinator

Location: Snohomish County Reports to: Executive Director FLSA Status: Part-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt Organization Overview: Girls on the Run (GOTR) is a physical activity-based positive youth development program for girls in 3rd8th grade. Our research-based curricula combine dynamic lessons with running to empower girls to grow in confidence, build resilience, and make healthy decisions. The program culminates in a celebratory 5K event. In 2026, we aim to serve over 900 girls throughout Snohomish County, in partnership with local schools and community organizations. The Operations Coordinator plays a key support role within our small, collaborative team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organizing, taking initiative, and contributing to mission-driven work in a flexible, dynamic environment. The Operations Coordinator will assist with logistical, administrative, and programmatic tasks to ensure smooth delivery of Girls on the Run programming and events across the region. The role includes a mix of regular weekly tasks and seasonal responsibilities, with occasional evening and weekend commitments required. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Inventory & Materials Management

Maintain inventory and organization of program, office, and event supplies Purchase and track materials for program delivery, office needs, and 5K events Coordinate volunteer groups for seasonal work parties and supply assembly Program Support

Assist with data entry and system management in Pinwheel (GOTR's program database) Prepare and manage program site visit schedule Track and verify volunteer credentials for all program sites Help coordinate and prepare for coach training events and meetups Assemble program materials and assist in program kit distribution Serve as a substitute coach as needed during the spring season 5K Event Coordination

Attend and support the 5K event, including set-up and clean-up Coordinate 5K volunteers and supply needs Help manage logistics related to event execution Outreach & Engagement

Maintain up-to-date council calendar and schedule of outreach events Manage outreach materials and ensure updated collateral is available Organize volunteer groups for support with events such as the Soiree and outreach fairs Office Management

Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage and office spaces Purchase and manage office supplies Support overall functionality and organization of the work environment Development & Sponsorship Support

Assist with tracking sponsorship benefit fulfillment Support donor and sponsor engagement projects Provide administrative support to the development team as needed Required Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize, multitask, and problem-solve efficiently Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and responsibilities Willingness to learn and manage systems such as Pinwheel Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc.) Able to lift/move supplies with reasonable accommodations Valid driver's license, access to personal vehicle, and willingness to travel within Snohomish County Demonstrated commitment to inclusion, diversity, equity, and access (IDEA) Passion for Girls on the Run's mission and youth development Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience with Girls on the Run (as a coach, volunteer, or staff) Self-starter with the ability to work independently Fluency in Spanish Compensation & Benefits
