Business Program and Project Management Analyst

CGI Federal is seeking candidates for a Business Program and Project Management Analyst (BPPA) position to support a USG client in Northern Virginia. BPPAs will assist a component of the USG client with managing its daily business operations to include coordinating briefings, facilitating meetings, documenting and tracking requirements and maintaining standard operating procedures. This role is located in Chantilly, VA. Your future duties and responsibilities: Ensure programs are prepared to meet key milestones, mitigate risks, manage dependencies and manage resource constraints. Guide project managers in preparing for Project Performance Reviews (PPRs). Identify opportunities for efficiencies and process improvement by implementing programmatic best practice techniques. Provide strategic project management thought-leadership and subject matter expertise in support of strategic objectives to include assisting with establishing project standards. Oversee development of quantifiable requirements based on stakeholder description, system planning and design and acquisition logistics. Participate in technical discussions to provide sound business and program management recommendations ensuring requirements are traceable and discrepancies are resolved. Ensure requirements are accurately documented and delivered on time. Participate in the implementation and execution plan of existing projects while tracking and monitoring status of programs and projects for Project Management Review (PMR). Required qualifications to be successful in this role: A Top Secret clearance with polygraph. Bachelor's degree in an applicable field or at least four (4) years of work experience in project and resource management. Minimum of four (4) years of experience supporting the IC. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Expertise in tracking and monitoring program activities and initiatives. Proven ability to plan and organize tasks independently. Excellent time management. Strong written and oral communication, organization and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated experience using MS Office applications and other tools to support and track component activities. Proven ability to work independently and identify and implement solutions to issues as they arise. Outstanding coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks. Ability to build strong relationships with customers and external entities. Exceptional corporate communication expertise with desired experience writing to both broad consumer level and executive audiences. Ability to identify and recommend process improvement opportunities. Success in liaising across organizations to collect and collate important data. Successful experience conducting multiple layers of research and writing summaries, reports, official correspondence and guidance. Willingness to travel within the Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA).
