This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at least three-four days per week. Relocation and housing assistance may be available to those who meet the eligibility criteria. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA for this position at this time. As a Process Development Intern, you will collaborate cross-functionally to develop manufacturing processes to create innovative, breakthrough next-generation medical devices. We partner with R&D on the front end of projects, innovate to determine how to make a design come to fruition and partner with Operations to launch life-saving devices into the market that improve and extend the lives of patients around the world. Your responsibilities will include: Responsible for the integrity and content of Process Plans with respect to materials used in processing and sequencing of tasks Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and refine manufacturing processes Design, fabricate and test prototype devices to address clinical feedback Conduct process characterization experiments and Process Validation to determine optimal settings to be used in device manufacturing Investigate and recommend new technology to be utilized to create medical devices Required Qualifications: Must graduate between Fall 2026

Spring 2027 Currently pursuing a bachelor's or graduate level degree majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering Must be able to commit to one of the following full internship program periods: May 18th

August 7th OR May 26th

August 14th Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization Must have reliable transportation to and from the Maple Grove, MN Boston Scientific Corporate location Preferred Qualifications: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams Passion to learn new technologies and find new solutions Previous internship or co-op experience
