HVAC Foreman Macon GA
Peak has a need for an HVAC Foreman in the Macon area to oversees the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to high standards while managing a team of technicians. Must be willing to be a working Foreman. This is a contract to permanent hire opportunity for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the activities of HVAC technicians and installers, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
Project Management: Manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Quality Control: Perform quality control inspections to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as client specifications.
Training and Mentoring: Train and mentor HVAC technicians and apprentices in proper techniques, safety protocols, and the use of tools and equipment.
Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to provide updates, gather feedback, and resolve any issues that arise during the project.
Documentation: Prepare and submit project documentation, including work orders, progress reports, and final inspection certificates.
Required Skills and Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC installation and maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair techniques. Leadership Skills: Ability to manage a team effectively, assign tasks, and ensure high-quality work. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address issues that arise during projects. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
