Position Purpose

The

UX Content Strategist

is responsible for developing and improving content and the user experience (UX) on the website and other digital channels, including organic listings and paid media. The strategist will utilize UX design principles to create quality content that is useful, usable and accessible, resulting in a positive and engaging experience that meets users’ expectations.

Responsibilities & Tasks

Guides website architecture and drives decision making around overall structure

Establishes content workflows, management and governance

Improves how content is organized in the content management system • Assists in strategic planning for information architecture, taxonomy, site mapping, wireframing and content development

Creates content models, documenting and mapping out different types of content, considering how they all relate to each other

Plans and writes user-focused content aimed to inform, inspire and engage potential customers at each stage of the consumer journey

Performs content audits and keep a detailed and up-to-date inventory and identify gaps and opportunities in content • Uses analytics tools to monitor content traffic, engagement, leads and conversions after content is published

Optimizes content based on search engine optimization (SEO) best practices and performance

Ability to work collaboratively across all disciplines including User Experience (UX), Project Management, Development, Analytics, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Creative

Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (WCAG 2.0)

Ability to quickly understand business and technical requirements
