Senior SEO Content Strategist
12+Month Contract
Client is looking for a Senior SEO Content Strategist to help scale our organic search content strategy across key product, industry, and thought leadership domains. This individual will have high visibility across leadership teams and cross functional leads to go to market with content. You should have a deep understanding of technical SEO, content strategy, and performance analytics - along with demonstrated experience in optimizing content and workflows for AI. Develop and execute an integrated SEO content strategy that aligns with Databricks' business objectives and product priorities. Lead cross-functional collaboration with product marketing, demand gen, content and web teams to plan and implement SEO-driven content initiatives. Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitive gap analyses to identify growth opportunities in core and emerging markets. Audit and optimize existing content and landing pages for technical SEO, UX, and conversion performance. Partner with the web development team to implement SEO best practices across the site architecture, schema markup, page performance, and crawl/index efficiency. Leverage AI tools and workflows to streamline keyword targeting, content ideation, metadata generation, and performance forecasting. Monitor and report on SEO KPIs, channel performance, and content attribution using tools like Conductor, SEMrush, GSC, etc. Stay ahead of search engine algorithm changes, emerging technologies (e.g., generative AI in search), and evolving user behavior to adapt and innovate Databricks' SEO approach. Qualifications
7+ years of hands-on experience in SEO strategy, with a focus on enterprise B2B SaaS or data/AI platforms. Proven success leading cross-functional SEO initiatives that drive measurable growth in organic traffic and revenue impact. Deep understanding of enterprise SEO content strategy Experience optimizing large-scale websites and content ecosystems, ideally in complex, multi-product environments. Experience working with or optimizing for AI-driven tools, content creation, or workflows Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across marketing, product, and engineering.
