Travel Nurse Job Details Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (L&D RN) Location: Morgantown, West Virginia 26506 Healthcare Setting: Birthing Center - Labor & Delivery Unit Start Date: August 4, 2025 End Date: September 29, 2025 Contract Duration: 8 weeks Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Salary: $2260 - $2430 per week On-Call Requirement: 24 additional on-call hours within a 4-week period Weekend Shifts: 3 weekend shifts and 2 Fridays per assignment Floating: Required as needed to other units Scrub Color: Ceil blue (hospital issued) Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (open to candidates awaiting West Virginia licensure) At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Proficiency with EPIC EMR and IV placement Experience caring for high-risk labor and antepartum patients Valid, unexpired driver's license (must reside 50+ miles from facility) Cannot have worked as permanent staff or traveler at this facility in the past 2 years L&D RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to mothers and newborns in a 13-bed Labor & Delivery unit Monitor patients using GE Corometrics Fetal Monitoring System Perform IV placements and document care using EPIC EMR Collaborate with OB/GYNs, neonatologists, nurse aides, and OB techs Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:1 active labor, 1:3 triage, 1:6 postpartum/mom-baby Participate in unit orientation and float to other units as needed Comply with hospital policies, including rotating holidays and weekends Apply now to join our dedicated healthcare team in Morgantown, WV, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
