Travel Nursing Job Details Location: Americus, Georgia 31719 Healthcare Setting: LDRP and Level 2 NICU (54-bed hospital) Assignment Duration: 20 weeks (September 8, 2025 - January 26, 2026) Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45p - 6:45a) Hours: 36 hours per week, guaranteed Estimated Weekly Salary: $1840 - $1980 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Holiday Requirement: Rotates with permanent staff On-Site Registered Nurse Position Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience At least 1 previous travel nursing contract required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate or higher Fetal Monitoring Ability to circulate for C-sections Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility (per traveler's driver's license) Experience with Meditech EMR preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in LDRP and Level 2 NICU Circulate for C-sections as needed Monitor fetal health using Fetal Heart Monitoring systems (WatchChild, transitioning to OBIX) Collaborate with OB techs, LPNs, charge nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams Float to NICU if experienced and as needed Document patient care accurately in Meditech EMR Follow ACOG guidelines for patient ratios and clinical care standards Participate in orientation and ongoing nursing training Apply now to join our healthcare team and make a difference in Georgia labor and delivery nursing jobs!
