Requirements
- Maintains a valid license certificate as a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with federal, state and local regulations
- CPR certification preferred
- 1-2 years of CNA experience, preferably in a geriatric or long-term care setting
- Strong knowledge of bedside care and nursing procedures
- Compassionate, professional, and team-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Support residents with mobility, transfers, and repositioning, utilizing appropriate safety measures and equipment.
- Monitor vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, and report any significant changes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and common areas, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Uphold residents' privacy and dignity, adhering to HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
