nWe are seeking a PRN team member to work on an as-needed basis, providing support to our team and clients during times of increased workload, vacation, or illness.
nRight at Home is seeking dependable, compassionate Home Health Aides in Waterloo to provide companion and personal cares to our clients in Cedar Falls and surrounding areas. Companion care includes light housekeeping, laundry assistance, transportation, medication reminders, meal preparation and participating in activities the client enjoys like puzzles or games. Clients may also need assisted walking, transfers, and exercises. Personal care includes help with bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene. There is no level of experience or training required as we provide a training and mentoring program to help you be successful. We are looking for a PRN Home Health Aide with the availability to work weekdays and weekends in Waterloo/Cedar Falls and the surrounding communities.

nWhat you will do as a PRN Home Health Aide for Waterloo:
nProvide light housekeeping, do laundry, make meals.
nTransport clients to appointments or the store.
nAssist with personal cares like transfers, toileting, showers, hygiene.
nMedication reminders, life management.
nProvide companionship with engaging activities and ensure client safety.
nReport changes in condition or concerns around the well-being of the client.
nDelegated nursing tasks like catheter care, medication administration, etc with training by RN.

nRequirements of a PRN Home Health Aide for Waterloo:
nValid Driver’s License
nMust have own vehicle with proof of adequate car insurance and the ability to travel within our service area which is a 60-minute radius of Waterloo/Cedar Falls.
nBe able to safely operate a vehicle in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations with or without reasonable accommodations.
nPass Background Check
nAbility to be reliable and dependable.
nDesire to care for older adults, keeping them safe and independent in their homes
nRead, write, speak, and understand English with or without reasonable accommodations as needed for the job.
