As a Research Scientist II, you will be part of the Reality Labs Human Factors Pathfinding UXR team supporting multiple programs and research in the Augmented, Mixed, and Virtual Reality domains. Design, plan, and conduct studies to explore how novel computer experiences impact users. Collect and analyze biomechanical and physiological test data to understand user experiences. Develop and execute scripts to analyze and interpret time-series data. Set up and maintain research laboratory equipment and software. Document, synthesize, and present research findings effectively. What's Needed?
Experience in human participant research. Hands-on experience with lab equipment for data collection and processing. Proficiency in data analysis using programming languages such as Matlab, Python, or R. Knowledge of kinematics, forces, and electromyography (EMG) data. Education: Masters or Doctorate Degree in Biomechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience. What's in it for me?
