This position is onsite in Bentonville, Arkansas Generous relocation package is offered Summary The Design Director, Marketplace plays a critical strategic role in evolving and defining the experience for our third-party sellers across their entire journey, from initial onboarding to becoming top sellers. This role allows you to innovate and empower third-party sellers to grow their business by highlighting their offerings to millions of customers. You will help create seamless, consumer-grade experiences that simplify onboarding and account management, and provide insightful recommendations to improve sales and reach. The goal is to make the Marketplace the top choice for third-party sellers worldwide. You will guide the team to make complex processes simple, ensuring experiences are easy to use, delightful, trusted, and unique. Your storytelling skills will help present your vision and design rationale compellingly to the team. Working with partners, you will create and champion engaging, usable experiences, delivering pixel-perfect detailed designs. Excellent visual and interaction design skills, with awareness of marketplace trends. Ability to communicate concepts clearly to diverse audiences. A track record of shipping impactful customer-facing products in dynamic environments. Experience leading product design processes and fostering cross-functional partnerships. Ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities. Deep experience in requirement gathering, journey mapping, design sprints, competitive analysis, and rapid prototyping. A commitment to inclusive design philosophies. You’ll make an impact by: Leading the Customer Experience Product Design team, nurturing individual strengths and fostering collaboration. Facilitating creative problem-solving across teams to align with organizational goals. Driving the creation of experiences that empower end-users.
