Job Responsibilities

Guide the evaluation of current cybersecurity principles, processes, and controls, and lead the assessment of new technology using existing standards and frameworks. Provide technical guidance and support to the business, technical teams, contractors, and vendors. Collaborate with stakeholders and senior leaders to recommend business modifications during vulnerabilities. Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more focus areas. Contribute to the engineering community by advocating for firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices within the Software Development Life Cycle. Influence peers and decision-makers to adopt and apply leading-edge technologies. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience. Hands-on experience delivering enterprise cybersecurity solutions and controls. Advanced skills in one or more programming languages or applications. Deep knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, applications, and technical processes, with expertise in areas such as public cloud, AI, machine learning, mobile, etc. Ability to independently solve design and functionality problems. Practical experience with cloud-native technologies. Ability to evaluate emerging technologies for future architecture planning. Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Experience working with AI models and complex distributed data sets. Proficiency in designing and implementing security controls in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with security assessment tools, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing methodologies. Experience in finance or a highly regulated industry. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and SOC 2.

CISSP, CISM, or other relevant certifications . Experience with security incident response and forensic investigation techniques is a plus. Experience engaging stakeholders to set strategy, align priorities, and deliver roadmaps while managing business needs.
