Position Overview

A well-established manufacturing facility in the Salem, NH area is seeking a

Maintenance Lead Technician

with a strong background in industrial equipment maintenance. This is a

direct hire

opportunity ideal for professionals with advanced troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and automation systems. The selected candidate will play a critical role in minimizing downtime, improving reliability, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. This position requires both hands-on technical ability and leadership in supporting operational uptime. Key Responsibilities

Execute preventative and corrective maintenance on a wide range of industrial equipment Diagnose and repair motors, sensors, pumps, gearboxes, PLCs, valves, and hydraulic systems Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions Assist with installation, calibration, and alignment of production machinery Maintain accurate service logs and documentation in CMMS platforms Ensure all maintenance tasks are conducted in accordance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and site safety protocols Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements Participate in capital improvement and equipment upgrade projects Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent 5+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing equipment maintenance Proven experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Familiarity with industrial automation, controls, and diagnostic tools (multimeters, hydraulic gauges) Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and various working conditions Flexible to work overtime, weekends, and respond to emergency calls when needed Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field Experience with Allen-Bradley, Unitronics, or similar PLCs Knowledge of pneumatic systems and CNC equipment Experience using CMMS or other maintenance tracking systems Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing Ability to work in confined spaces or variable environmental conditions Compensation and Benefits

Hourly Rate:
