Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist specializing in maternal fetal medicine with at least 2 years of experience and ARDMS, BLS, and ARDMS OB/GYN certifications.
Responsibilities Outpatient maternal fetal medicine clinic setting focused on OB/GYNWork with high risk OB and GYN patients performing level 1 OB scansProcedures include abdominal aorta, first through third trimester, fetal anatomical survey, amniotic fluid index, placenta previa, and various abdominal and pelvic examsDepartment uses GE ultrasound equipmentEPIC charting system experience is requiredDay shift, Monday through Friday from 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM with a 45-minute meal breakNo weekend or call requirementsRole may require floating to other units or affiliate locations as neededFirst-time travelers are welcome to applyContract staff may be required to work during catastrophic events as part of a storm or hurricane teamNo RTO allowed during the first week of assignment and seven days or less RTO granted if not during holidaysMust be comfortable floating per job requirements and team needsScrubs in any color are acceptableCandidates with a permanent address within 50 miles will receive a local rateEmployees must wait 12 months after working as staff, PRN, or per diem to be eligible for travel roles at this health systemCandidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays if assignment overlaps recognized holidays
