About the Role
As a Securities Lending Senior Business Analyst, you will make an impact by leveraging your expertise in Securities Lending, Sponsored Repos, Collateral Management, Business Analysis & Capital Markets. You will be a valued member of the team and work collaboratively with managers, primary teams, and clients. In this role, you will:
Gather and analyze business requirements, and prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) and Business Requirement Documents (BRD). Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and advisor on SEC Treasury Clearing Rule, providing guidance on regulatory requirements and best practices for compliance. Play a key role in the implementation of Securities Financing Transaction (SFT) solutions, ensuring alignment with SEC Treasury Clearing Rule and other relevant SFT regulations. Participate in client engagement (projects, discussions) and own all business analysis responsibilities from a domain/business point of view. Determine and map changes to the Firm's data architecture and the cross-functional, processing lifecycle, considering internal and external data sources and technical requirements.

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring a certain number of days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Chicago, USA. What you must have to be considered Minimum 8 years of hands-on business analysis experience (Requirements gathering, Data analysis) and preparation of FRD/BRD. Good knowledge of Securities Lending, Sponsored Repos, Collateral Management & Capital Markets domain. Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. Proven experience in securities financing area, preferably within Securities lending areas, Sponsored Repos, Capital markets. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
These will help you succeed Experience with securities finance transactions, collateral management, and capital markets. Knowledge of financial industry regulatory bodies and their regulatory rules such as SEC Treasury Clearing Rule. Familiarity with data governance and compliance practices. Experience in business system analysis, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and workflow documentation. Experience working in agile projects, using Jira, creating user stories, and overall knowledge of the agile framework.
Compensation $86,500-$101,500 This position is eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans
