About the Role:

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program
- Certification as a Medical Assistant by an approved credentialing board (NHA, AMT, NCCT, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a medical clinic or hospital setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care, including taking vital signs, weight, recording medical histories, and preparing patients for examinations
- Understands and utilizes universal precautions and follows Infection Control procedures.
- Assist physician in exams, procedures, minor surgeries, and administering injections.
- Clean instruments to include autoclaving.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure patient confidentiality
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient flow
- Ensure clinic equipment is properly maintained and stocked
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care
