LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Insurance Defense Litigation Legal Assistant for a confidential client. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy legal team focused on defending clients in personal injury, property damage, and liability claims. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation and be comfortable managing high-volume caseloads. This role is perfect for a legal assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of insurance defense procedures, court filings, and case management. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys handling insurance defense matters Draft and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and subpoenas Manage case files, maintain litigation calendars, and track court deadlines Coordinate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel regarding case updates and scheduling Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, deposition summaries, and witness lists Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive legal matters Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal assistant in insurance defense or civil litigation Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules, and e-filing systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment Preferred Experience: Experience supporting attorneys in personal injury, property damage, or liability defense cases Familiarity with medical record review and expert coordination Paralegal certificate or relevant legal training is a plus This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients.

Benefits: Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401k plan. Additionally, you may be eligible for paid leave including Paid Sick Leave or other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law, as well as Holiday pay where applicable.

Pay Details:

$50,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
