Job Description
An established property management firm is looking for a skilled and driven Senior Property Manager to lead the operations of a couple large multifamily communities. This role calls for a strong leader who can oversee day-to-day activities, maintain high occupancy, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster positive relationships with residents and staff alike. Candidates with local community knowledge and a track record of effective property management will be highly valued. Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations of both properties, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Lead and supervise on-site staff, including leasing agents, maintenance technicians, and admin assistants. Manage leasing activities to maintain high occupancy levels. Handle rent collections, payment processing, and delinquency follow-up. Foster positive tenant relations and resolve disputes effectively. Ensure properties are maintained to quality and safety standards. Oversee capital expenditure (CapEx) management by coordinating contractors, purchasing materials, and supervising renovation or unit build-outs as new units come online. Work closely with contractors and vendors for repairs and improvements. Other duties as assigned Qualifications: 3-5 years
of proven property management experience, preferably with Class C multifamily properties Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and HUD regulations preferred. Local residency in or near St. Louis, Missouri.
