Summary Join our team! King County's Finance and Business Operations Division, Financial Management section, is seeking a Functional Analyst 2! The individual filling this position will be responsible for supporting the Projects/Grants, Receivables, General Ledger, Assets modules and various internal control processes of the Oracle EBS Financial System through maintaining system values, troubleshooting moderately difficult situations, and providing education and technical assistance to financial system users. Candidates must have the ability to translate technical information into a format and delivery method that can be understood by a broad audience.

Scope of Job Duties:

To be considered for this opportunity, you must at a minimum, demonstrate knowledge, skill and ability to: Provide problem solving and other technical assistance to King County Oracle EBS financial modules users. Provide excellent customer service to King County employees using the Oracle EBS system. Analyze, monitor and test system functionality. Perform system analysis and data queries. Create and maintain Oracle EBS system values, including verifying qualifications for approval workflow access. Identify improvement opportunities utilizing Lean/Six Sigma methodologies in support of Oracle EBS system users and serve on project teams for opportunities identified. Document and revise standard work procedures for processes using the Oracle EBS financial modules. Assist in the design, development and/or delivery of educational curriculum for Oracle EBS General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and Projects/Grants modules and related business processes. Design and update Adobe forms for various system additions or modifications. Minimum Qualifications:

Experience with Oracle EBS General Ledger, Projects/Grants, Accounts Receivable, and/or Assets module experience or the equivalent experience in an ERP financial system. Analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as skills in gathering, manipulating, validating and using data from multiple sources with a variety of tools. Experience troubleshooting system issues and resolving problems for end users. Experience developing technical and operational written procedures. Business process improvement experience. The ability to effectively teach technical and operational financial curriculum to various audiences and levels. Skill in analytical thinking, problem solving, resolving conflicts and bringing others to consensus. Ability to manage your time and adapt to changing priorities, work on multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, meet quick deadlines, and produce timely and quality work products. Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds. Strong communication, interpersonal, writing and customer service skills. Intermediate level of technology proficiency using MS Office Productivity tools in your daily work. Ability to manage your time and adapt to changing priorities, work on multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, meet quick deadlines, and produce timely and quality work products. Work Site Details:

The work associated with this position will primarily be

hybrid . FBOD employees are currently required to work two assigned days a week in the Seattle office. This team currently works in the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays. In office requirements may change as required by King County business needs. Location Requirement:

Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements. Work Schedule:

This position is Non-Exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and therefore is overtime eligible. Employees are paid on a bi-weekly schedule, every other Thursday, comprising a 40-hour workweek; normally 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Union Representation:

Employees will be provided with a County issued laptop. When working remotely employees must maintain a workspace with an internet connection (access may be supplemented in some situations) where they can reliably perform work, remain available and responsive during scheduled work hours, and follow FBOD's Hybrid and Remote Guidelines including on-camera participation during virtual video meetings. King County has a robust collection of tools and resources to support working remotely.
