Job Description Salary: Based on Experience Rugged Trade is a local work wear store focused on serving the hard-working communities of Eastern New Mexico. We are a rapidly growing, family-owned company and are looking for a part-time administrative assistant to work in our finance department at our Carlsbad location. Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized individual with previous administrative assistant experience.

Essential Responsibilities Include:

General Administrative Duties Data entry Picking up mail from the post office Sorting and scanning documents Filing mail and documents Making bank deposits Answering phones Accounts Receivable Duties Send invoice statements via email Submit invoices in Open Invoice and Ariba Update internal databases, platforms, and spreadsheets Review daily invoices and vouchers for accuracy and report issues to accounting manager Maintain daily mailing and billing paperwork

Skills and Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years experience as an administrative assistant is required. Experience in accounts receivable is preferred. Must possess strong attention to detail and time management skills. Must be proficient with Microsoft 365 programs. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person, by phone, and in writing.
